Provider facts and verification

Cook’s Ticket facts & verification

A clear record of what Cook’s Ticket provides, what the Danish Maritime Authority issues, and where to verify the official pathway.

Last reviewed: 14 October 2026. This page distinguishes Cook’s Ticket’s training and assessment programme from the official Danish Ship’s Cook Certificate.

What Cook’s Ticket provides

Cook’s Ticket, operated by Rasborg ApS, provides recognised digital training and assessment for ship’s cooks. The programme includes six learning modules, a practical cookery video assessment and a remote-proctored final exam. Candidates who pass receive a Cook’s Ticket Certificate of Completion.

What the Danish Maritime Authority issues

The official Danish Ship’s Cook Certificate is issued by the Danish Maritime Authority after its separate application process. Cook’s Ticket does not issue, register or guarantee the official certificate. After passing Cook’s Ticket, the candidate can apply separately to the Authority.

How to verify provider recognition

Rasborg ApS (CVR 39821796) appears in the Danish Maritime Authority’s public course-plan register under Recognition of ship’s cook training programmes.

Flag-state confirmations

Written confirmations concern the official Danish Ship’s Cook Certificate issued by the Danish Maritime Authority — not Cook’s Ticket’s Certificate of Completion. The scope, route and any formal step vary by flag state. See the current, detailed record before relying on a particular flag.

Questions about eligibility or applications

Eligibility for the official certificate depends on the candidate’s documents and the Danish Maritime Authority’s separate process. For programme questions, contact Cook’s Ticket. For official-certificate decisions, use the Authority’s current guidance.
