Flag State Recognition
Written confirmations and application routes for the official Danish Ship's Cook Certificate issued by the Danish Maritime Authority.
Seven flag states have confirmed recognition in writing. Six are listed below under confirmed recognition; Liberia has a separate formal application step. Cayman Islands and pending enquiries are shown separately. These entries concern the official DMA certificate, not Cook's Ticket's Certificate of Completion.
Confirmed in writing
Bahamas
Bahamas — confirmed in writing by the Bahamas Maritime Authority: accepts all MLC 2006 ship's cook certificates issued by SFS, including Order 1305 certificates.
Marshall Islands
Marshall Islands — confirmed in writing by the Marshall Islands Registry: accepted for the RMI Cook SQC sticker.
Hong Kong
Hong Kong — confirmed in writing by the Hong Kong Marine Department: a valid ship's cook certificate from another MLC 2006-ratifying administration is accepted, no separate endorsement needed.
Luxembourg
Luxembourg — confirmed in writing by the Luxembourg Maritime Administration: accepted for service on Luxembourg-flagged vessels.
Malta
Malta — confirmed in writing by Transport Malta: acceptable to the Directorate.
UK
UK — confirmed in writing by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency: certificates issued by the Danish Maritime Authority, relying on Cook's Ticket assessments, are acceptable as equivalent to UK ship's cook certificates.

Liberia
Liberia — approved by LISCR, but must be applied for individually by the candidate. A formality, not a judgment call.
Case-by-case
Cayman Islands
Cayman Islands — assessed individually by the Cayman Islands Registry, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience, and limited to Large Yacht or Passenger Yacht registration. A Cook's Ticket assessment carries real weight for borderline cases.

Cyprus — enquiry submitted, response pending.
Panama
Panama — enquiry submitted; Panama's own Merchant Marine Circular (MMC-275) already covers certificates from MLC 2006-ratifying administrations, so this is expected to be a formality.
Singapore
Singapore — enquiry submitted; Singapore's own MPA Circular (3/2013) already covers certificates from MLC-ratifying states, so this is expected to be a formality.
Greece
Greece — enquiry submitted, response pending.
